Procession and Visage the latest Apple iPhone 6

After years of making fun of his rivals for the production of larger and larger screens, and sticking to your pocket principles, Apple finally relented this year, the introduction of a non-larger but two projected model iPhone 6 4.7in screen and iPhone 6 Plus with a 5.5-inch screen. It is quite climbdown by Apple, but I had: one year with only a 4-inch screen on your phone logo and consumers have voted with their feet, dropping steadily away from Samsung, HTC, LG and alternatives more large projected. Actually, Apple should not have been so scared to make the move, since none of the new phones feels out of place in the big-screen smartphones obsessed in the market today.

Apple iPhone 6: Range and Appearance

The iPhone 6, the smaller of the two phones, it works better. Apple has rounded edges again this time, away from the straight sides of the four dead earlier departure (the edges of the glass in the front are slightly curved, too), and this works to create the impression that the phone is smaller than it is. It is pleasant to the touch, do not feel too slippery in the hand - an accusation that could be leveled at the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s - and 4.7in screen size feels good.
If you have been worried about the increased screen size 5s' 4 inches diagonally, you'll wonder what all the fuss was once you get your hands on the iPhone 6. Yes, it is higher, wider and heavier than his predecessor at 129 g, but touch is far from being unwieldy, even when slotted into an envelope leather case for Apple. In fact, the extra size it means that it is easier to use in some aspects: writing accurately, for example, becomes much easier thanks to the buttons on the big screen, and using the iPhone 6 as a GPS in the car is much more pleasant experience with the additional screen space.

The sheer thinness of the phone makes it very comfortable to wear, too. Measures just 7.1 mm from front to back, 0.5 mm thinner than the iPhone 5s and the smartphone market power out only the skeleton Huawei Ascend P7 (6.5 mm) is skinnied.

Apple has put some thought into helping those who simply do not go ahead with the size of the new phone: light double tap home button on screen slides down, allowing access to a hand icon, buttons and menus direction on the upper half of the screen. However, after several months of use, you do not really need. We can count the number of times it has been deliberately embedded in the fingers of one hand; in fact, after a while, just forget the iPhone had grown, and got on with life. We certainly do not want to go back to the tiny iPhone 5s.

In addition to size, there are a couple of other physical changes to consider. The power button has been moved from the top edge of the device aside while making it easy to get and also a little easier to hit an error when picking up the phone. The volume buttons are long and thin rather than circular, making them easier to find touch without looking, and now there is only one speaker grille at the bottom of the phone, where iPhone 5s were a couple.

Odd design change, however, is the camera lens protruding projecting about one millimeter from the back of the box. In daily use, you probably will not notice that: it does not stick out enough to catch the edge of the pocket as it slides in and out, you will not feel it when holding the phone and if you put your iPhone 6 in one case The point is moot anyway.

The only major concern is for those who prefer to enjoy their iPhone in the metal; with lens bearing the brunt of the impact increasingly tapping the phone on a flat, hard surface, we have concerns about how long it will last.

Apple IPhone 6: Canopy

The elegant industrial design is accompanied by a strip of hardware enhancements inside, but the screen makes the biggest impact. Along with the increase in size, Apple has boosted the resolution of the iPhone 6-750 x 1344, giving a pixel density of 327ppi (a mere fraction of 326ppi iPhone 5s), and looks sharp.

Brightness, contrast and color accuracy are also exemplary, with the iPhone reaching a maximum brightness of 585cd / m2, winning an astonishing 1,423: 1 contrast ratio, a rating very impressive color accuracy with a Delta E of 1.74, and the sRGB coverage of 95%. That contrast ratio is particularly impressive, and significant improvement in 972 5s': 1, loans images on the screen a little more depth and dynamism.

There is a small caveat to this, however. Example in our model, we observed a faint band around 5 mm thick running along the top of the screen. Initially no place thanks to the confusion of the menus, but when we dropped in the full screen reading view on the Kindle app, it became clear immediately. It's a shame, because apart from this, the iPhone screen 6 is as good as I've seen in any smartphone.

Apple IPhone 6: Execution

Behind the screen, the changes are even more dramatic. The iPhone 6, along with his older brother, sport new A8 dual-core CPU with 1 GB of RAM, improved and better coprocessor M8 movement (which is the low-power chip designed to save energy by controlling the sensors graphics phone). There are models with 16GB, 64GB and 128GB storage (but curiously, there is no 32GB model), and Apple has added a barometer for the alignment of the sensors, for more accurate reporting of the relative altitude and atmospheric pressure.

It comes as little surprise to find that the iPhone 6 feels completely smooth in general use. We noticed no jitter or hook while moving around on iOS eight heavy graphics navigate web pages or pan and zoom on Google or Apple Maps. From iOS eight runs smoothly on the hardware of two generations old, 5c, the iPhone 5 and iPhone, which is expected. However, the performance of new benchmarks processor is much faster than any of its predecessors. We started with simple SunSpider JavaScript test a single thread, the iPhone 6 dispatched in 347ms. Only the Samsung Galaxy S5 comes close to this, with a time of 391ms.

Passing a little more demanding Peacekeeper benchmark, we saw a score of 2533 - long before any smartphone we've tested. It's the same story in Geekbench 3 with a score of 1631 single-core wiping the floor with everything else, and a score of multiple cores is tapped by hardware quad-core Qualcomm Samsung Galaxy S5. Given that the iPhone 6 is half the number of cores as Samsung, remains an impressive spectacle seriously. And as for the playtest GFXBench T-Rex HD, there is simply no competition: the only phone capable of beating 51fps iPhone 6 is the iPhone 6 Plus, averaging 53fps smooth as silk despite its screen higher resolution Full HD.

Apple IPhone 6:camcorder

On paper, the camera is not a big improvement over last year's flagship. You get a 1/3 inch CMOS sensor and 8-megapixel backside illuminated with 1.5 micron photo sites, and an aperture of f / 2.2 - the same as 5s. He is accompanied by True Tone flash Apple indoor shots are not as horribly washing and ghostly.

The difference is that the camera now has a knockout series autofocus pixels detected in the sensor surface, similar to the shape of the Galaxy S5 and many SLRs and enthusiastic high range, enabling the fastest autofocus.

In practice, what this means is that the iPhone 6 will almost instantly move to focus on a subject that is very much one that is very close to where the iPhone 5s take a second or less. This is not a dramatic improvement to take pictures, but it makes a big difference in the video: highly effective approach to digital stabilization and super-quick combine to produce stunning Full HD videos, with much less focus hunting.

Unfortunately, the other major upgrade - optical image stabilization - limited to older brother of iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus. Even there, Apple is restricting its use to low light and still images. It is not used in video mode, probably to save on battery life.

What all this boils down to that most of what we said about the rear chamber of iPhone 5s' still holds the iPhone 6. Produce clean, detailed and well exposed in most conditions the pictures, but not as good as Nokia Lumia 1020 in low light.

Your digital image stabilization remains excellent, and produces smooth and vibration free videos. The only difference is that the improved processing engine iPhone 6 tends to apply a less aggressive noise reduction settings, leading to small sharp images, but in more detail in low light.

He or front camera facing the camera "Timer" and encourages us to label these days, also gains from a small improvement. Although the resolution is kept equal to 1.2 megapixels, the opening is now a wide f / 2.2, which allows the entry of "81% more light," and there is also a burst mode to help capture your best side. Produce detailed, self-portraits in low light cleaning, but in brighter conditions may have difficulty telling the difference between the iPhone 6 and 5 years.

To round things out, Apple has added a handful of features for the front camera. Top of the list is a feature of timelapse video, produces file high quality material it streamlined the process, and there is also a mode other Slo-mo, video capture at 240 fps - twice the frame rate of 5s iPhone. This is an impressive achievement for a smartphone camera, and the resulting videos look better.
