iPhone 7: Apple iphone could jump 6S
Apple is developing plans to skip a generation, the iPhone launch July 1 year before his arrival, according to an industry analyst.
Under normal business planning game, the iPhone last year 6 were followed for iPhone 6S this year. But Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at KGI Securities, said the new phone will introduce major new features - prompting Apple to break with convention and call it the iPhone in July.
According to Kuo, who says MacRumors "has a respectable history in reporting on upcoming plans Apple" Apple will introduce Touch Force - a technology developed for the watch Apple - the new iPhone this year, and then update 2016.
Touch Force can differentiate between taps on a touch screen and longer, stronger pressure. That would allow Apple and independent application developers to add new software features in theory make the iPhone seventh most efficient to use.
It was introduced by Apple clock, whose screen girl puts a premium on efficient controls, but the system apparently adapted for use in most iPhone screen.
"We believe the iPhone Force Touch sensor does not directly detect the pressure applied by the fingers," Kuo wrote in a note to investors. "Instead, the contact area where the finger touches the screen to decide the size of the pressure is controlled."
AppleInsider reported last month that Apple had planned to build Touch Force in the iPhone 6, but withdrew after technical difficulties. It is also anticipated that the next model, called the 6S, make use of technology.
Now, however, Kuo suggests that the introduction of the Touch Force "can be significant enough to call its next iPhone Apple iPhone 7", reports MacRumors - a move the iPhone 6S consign to history before it was revealed.
Apple never comments on leaks and rumors before the official product launch.
