Apple to wait the live TV service next year

Apple will delay its live TV service for at least the next year, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the iPhone maker's plans.

The company had planned to introduce the service, which is delivered via the Internet, this year.

Discussions with broadcasters such as CBS Corp. and Twenty-First Century Fox Licensing program are progressing slowly, and the lack of content has led Apple to abandon plans to advertise the service on September 9 event, he said Bloomberg.

Apple also lacked the capacity of the computer network to ensure good viewing experience, Bloomberg said.

The company still plans to introduce a more powerful version of its set-top box Apple TV in the event, to be held in San Francisco.

Apple was the aim of fixing the price of the new service at about $ 30 (19.21 pounds) to $ 40 a month, media reports said.
