'First 4K OLED TV in the world' LG unveils in India from Rs 3,84,900
LG has launched the first 4K OLED TV in the world in India. The 55-inch version is priced at Rs 3,84,900 while the 65-inch model at Rs 5,79,900.
The new LG OLED TV 4K has a transparent support and the back cover is free of fasteners and holes. In addition, the TV also features 3D technology and Harmin Kardon sound. 3D glasses are included with the TV.
TVs curves are based on the company's patented technology WRGB LG with 33 million color subpixels (more than 27 million a conventional TV Full HD) to provide better color and contrast ratio, with deeper blacks. The display gives a thickness of 5.9 mm as well.
The TV also has a maximum response time of 0.001ms (1000 times more than conventional LCD TVs) blur the clear view, the company claims and television also is powered by webOS smart TV platform and magic LG distance motion also supports voice recognition. In terms of connectivity, it is compatible with Wi-Fi, miracast, MHL and Intel WiDi.
