Computex 2015: Intel announces 10 new fifth-generation processors with higher speeds and Iris Pro graphics





Intel announced its latest fifth generation core graphics processor with enhanced performance and graphics at Computex today. Intel's speech, Kirk Skaugen also announced that Intel core processors sixth generation would make an appearance later this year. He showed some designs of prototypes of products that will house sixth-generation processors. "Windows 10 is used to the maximum with the sixth generation of the family nucleus," he said.

Given Broadwell fifth generation processors were announced earlier this year; this latest update, which includes 10 new pieces of desktop and mobile (plus 5 processors Xeon) brings improvements in speed and graphics to the table. Apart from this, first we'll be seeing Iris Pro graphics level in LGA form factor for desktop CPU. This was announced back at the Game Developers Conference. According to Intel, it gives a 2x improvement in graphics Intel HD4600. This processor is designed for different types of form factors including thinner mini desktop PC, desktop AIOs and so on.

Intel also announced a series of Intel Core mobile processors 47 watts fifth generation. The Intel Core i7 processor is a processor 5950HQ 4-core 8-clocked at 2.8 GHz and features the Intel thread Iris Pro 6200 integrated graphics. The complete list of desktop and mobile processors except the Xeon line up is as follows.

Prices for desktop processors start at $ 244 to $ 366 (about Rs 15,700 to Rs 23,400) and that can be seen in the market over the next two months.
