Smartron launches 12.2 inch t.book 2-in-1 for Rs 39,999; goes on sale on April 8
Smartron, a new brand India has announced its first set of products in India. The training includes a Windows 10-powered 2-in-1 called the t.book and Android smartphone called the t.phone. The t.book is priced at Rs 39,999 and will go on sale on April 8, while the t.phone will be available April 18 onwards. Both devices will be sold exclusively in Gadgets360.
The t.book has a monocoque all metal with a two-tone design that looks quite similar to Microsoft Surface alignment. Smartron claims it can operate as a real workstation, thanks to its full size folding keyboard and hinged kickstand.
Coming to the hardware, we get multi-touch (2560 × 1600 pixels) A 12.2-inch WQXGA with oleophobic coating and a ratio of 16: 9.
Inside, a set of 64-bit Intel chips COREM is obtained with a frequency of 2 GHz Turbo and 4 GB of RAM LPDDR3. Memory options include an SSD 128GB of storage and a microSD card slot that supports cards up to 128GB of capacity.
Turning to the cameras, a 5MP AF camera on the back and 2MP unit in the front is obtained. Tablets in packs an accelerometer and a gyroscope and configuration 2X1W stereo speakers above the screen.
Connectivity options include 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac (dual channel) MIMO. As for ports, two USB 3.0 ports, micro HDMI port, headphone jack 3.5 mm and USB Type C port for loading are obtained. The virtual keyboard is connected via a magnetic connector pogo. The 2-in-1 features a battery 10,000mAh Smartron claims that deliver up to 10 hours of non-stop use.
Software options include Windows 10 Home / Pro and Smartron has included its custom Hubtron TCloud tcare applications for a more connected experience. The 2-in-1 options will be available in full gray gray + orange.
Upon reaching the t.phone, Smartron reveals very little about it at launch. What we know for now is that packs in a 5.5-inch screen.
