TOMTOM GOLFER 2 HANDS ON

Too often carry not really give us a lot of advice, if it comes to how to get more sleep, work faster and faster, or just improve in a particular sport. new golfer 2 SmartWatch TomTom wants to be different, and added both for detection automatic shooting and analysis system post-game to see where we went wrong, what vaccinations could do with most practice, and what our result I could be like if we put together the perfect 18 holes.

TomTom has made an effort in design and comfort for the golfer 2. The GPS module has been placed inside the joypad navigation, ensuring that the profile is thinner and more comfortable watch to wear. It has worked. Golfer 2 slide easily under the cuff, which may sound like a basic, but custom sports watches are often large and too upset to do this. Here, despite the curved plastic housing dictates how, no problems.

It is also very light, and frame aluminum screen looks great. The brooch is a bit annoying, however. The rubber belt needs to be fed through the metal and often slid out of position when we watch out, requiring an adjustment when we wanted to put it back on. The clock does not slip on the wrist, however, despite widespread evidence that was required to know if the belt is loosened over time. The body is waterproof and can be used in the rain.

A square d-pad lets you move around the clock, which vibrates with every press, confirming the action. Also it vibrates to tell you that it has recognized a shot. It was easy to use with your thumb or finger when the watch was on the wrist, and the proprietary operating system was easy and fast. The display is monochrome, but clearly legible, although we have not proven that in the sunlight.

Golfer 2 connects to the TomTom application MySports, which is where the new features. The GPS function knows the course you are, or will find the closest to you if you do not know the area and knows the distances, approaches and risks automatically - help players decide the strategy. It automatically connects to the scores too, and presents all the details after the game. This is where you can analyze performance on a shot by shot to see that are not working, and even get a final yield prediction base. In this way, you have a real and necessary objective evidence after matches their failures and successes.

Out on the course, with active GPS, the battery is expected Golfer 2 to last about 11 hours. Turning off the GPS and the clock will run for several weeks before needing a recharge, but if some functions are not lost too. TomTom says it has designed the golfer 2 for people to wear on and off the field. TomTom sold worldwide and it will be in May. In the US, it will cost $ 250 and in the UK, £ 200.
